Passage: Colossians 1:15-23
Verse: Colossians 1:22-23a (NIV)
But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel.

We have read about how we have been reconciled to God through Christ in an earlier passage of Scripture… and in this one too.  As believers, we know that it is through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice upon the cross for us that we, when all is said and done, will stand before God without blemish and free from accusation.  Oh, how Jesus loves us!  However, we must not forget that we must continue in [our] faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel.  May we truly believe in the sacrifice that Christ made for us upon the cross.  May our faith grow stronger with each day, in Christ, that passes.  May we stand firm in the faith, and for Jesus Christ.  May we find comfort in the hope we have, for eternity, through Christ.
