Father, show us how to seek your kingdom and your righteousness for nothing in our lives should be more important than our focus on You. Amen.

Matthew 6:33 (NIV) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The Bible says, For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.  – Chris Oyakhilome

Father, show us where we stumble. Reveal to us the goal for which we are created. Help us to stay focused on your righteousness through Jesus. Amen.

Matthew 5:20 (NIV) For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
