1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

When some things go wrong, take a moment to be thankful for the many more things that are still going right.

Father, hold us close. Send your Holy Spirit to reveal your will to us. Help us to become more like Jesus in all our ways. We thank you for our salvation and your love for us. Amen

Father, in every circumstance, good and bad, help us to remember that we are your children and your love for us surpasses any love we have ever known in our humanity. Teach us to cling to that truth. Amen
