Faithfully Yours Forever

1Corinthians 15:6 (CSB)

Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers and sisters at one time; most of them are still alive, but some have fallen asleep.

Father, we thank you that your love and your salvation are for all who confess that Jesus is risen and we can know your forgiveness as your reborn sons and daughters. May your name be glorified now and for eternity.  Amen.

John 20:26-28 (ESV)

Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”

Too many people are trying to worship God apart from Jesus Christ. I will not back down on this, in any degree. There is only one way to come into God’s presence, and that is through Jesus Christ. Yes, you can worship without Jesus, but you’re not worshiping the God of the Bible. – A. W. Tozer

Father, in your fullness we’re pleased to live in Christ, and through him you reconciled everything to yourself. You made peace with everything in Heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. Help us to never take that for granted and become complacent in our worship of you.  Amen.
