Faithfully Yours Forever

Hebrews 12:1-2 (CSB)

Therefore, as we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfector of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Father, help us to remember that in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a you tell us that love is patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not proud, doesn’t dishonor others, isn’t self-seeking, not easily angered, doesn’t keep records of wrongs, doesn’t delight in evil, rejoices with the truth, always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres and never fails. Let love for You first and then one another be our goal.  Amen.
