The River Run Church of the Nazarene will offer a 4-part Advent series for children on four consecutive Saturday afternoons from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM beginning on December 1, 2012 and concluding on December 22, 2012.
“The Gift of Advent” Christmas Curriculum by GoFishResources.com will be used. This DVD curriculum features the Go Fish Guys Christian rock band. Their DVD/CD material will guide us through Christmas songs, Bible lessons, activity worksheets, and the completion of simple crafts.
This Advent series will be geared toward children ages 8 to 12, but younger and older children may also enjoy the series. The 4-part series is open to the public, free of charge, and will be held at the Detroit Town Hall, located at 35 South Main Street in Detroit, Maine.
